Since October young people in Nuneaton and Bedworth and Warwick District have been busy planning, researching and writing articles for their very own young people’s newspaper pages. The Nuneaton Tribune, In Touch Nuneaton and Bedworth and the Leamington Courier have allowed young people to take control over newspaper pages in forthcoming editions in order to address issues that are important to young people today.

The young editors are keen to challenge the negative stereotypes of young people in the media and highlight the positive things that they do in their community whilst encouraging young people to get involved in their local media. Articles covering diverse subjects such as teenage parents, obesity/anorexia, underage drinking, young carers, politics, and local music are currently being edited for these pages right now.

Keep an eye out in the local newspapers for these pages during
