WHAT IS IT? 

First Gear is a 10 session pre-learner car driver programme which promotes positive attitudes regarding vehicle use and ownership. WAYC delivers this course throughout Warwickshire, Coventry & North Solihull.

 YOU’LL LEARN… 

 - About the laws governing driving & owning a vehicle
 - The real cost of owning a car
 - How to carry out basic car maintenance
 - What to do if things go wrong
 - About attitudes & the consequences of bad attitudes towards vehicle & road use
 - The basics of safe driving through two controlled off road driving sessions. 

If you have a group interested in completing a First Gear programme, please contact yap@wayc.org.uk or call 01926 450156. We are able to help groups of young people complete bid applications in order to fund a course.
