Take Five Project - funded by CAMHS

The Take 5 Project, funded by the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is working with young people aged 14-19 in Leamington, who are experiencing mental ill-health. Working with WAYC youth worker, Melanie Scobie, the young people will explore and identify different coping strategies and mechanisms they could or have used to help them cope with overwhelming emotional feelings. This could include: relaxation exercises, reflexology, healthy eating or creative activities such as, music, photography and writing. The group will then develop a resource that will be available to 8-13 year olds.

The Take 5 Project takes place on Thursday evenings for the next 18 weeks, and sessions will take place in a very informal, safe and confidential environment.

To find our more please contact Melanie Scobie on 01926 450156/07500 832306 or email melanie.scobie@wayc.org.uk
