This innovative new programme allows young people experiencing emotional or mental health problems to benefit from a fun learning experience. The programme consists of three individual projects taking place in Nuneaton, Solihull/Coventry and Warwick District whereby young people aged 11 – 20 years can undertake creative activities in the outside, therapeutic, environment.

These projects allow participants to make positive friendships, to develop coping strategms and to use the outside space to develop a more positive mind. They are supported by WAYC's skilled youth work staff.
Green Dreams has been funded by Ecominds, a £7.5million funding scheme run by Mind on behalf of the BIG Lottery Fund. Ecominds involves people with direct experience of mental distress in environmental projects that improve their mental and physical health, and local communities.

The Green Dreams projects are currently battling with the cold and snow, keeping themselves warm with hot drinks and small fires! As each of the project progresses we will be adding updates and photos so please keep checking back!
